Java Security

I have the latest Java application on my computer with no 'old' applications on board. In order to access and play 'Play Computer' and 'Endgame' I had to go to the java control panel and place the 'Ideachess' site on the security exception list after ignoring numerous red exclamation points telling me that by accessing the site I am taking, according to them, "huge security risks". What is anyone's position on this issue? Im sure it costs a fortune to get there highest security rating but what kind of a risk can there be to playing chess. Has everyone else had to do this? Any feedback is appreciated. Email at [email protected]
